KITCHEN REVEAL - 27 HAREWOOD ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON

We are pleased to be able to show the final pictures of the kitchen in the restored house as part of our Harewood Road Project.

It was important from the outset for us to create a balance of traditional and contemporary finishes to respect the Victorian heritage of the original house while also creating a modern home for future occupants.

We partnered with @gardinerofengland to create a contemporary porcelain-coloured shaker kitchen with stone worktops including a waterfall edge breakfast bar, integrated appliances including a feature @bellinguk range cooker, custom wooden shelving with integrated LED lighting and brass ironmongery.

As part of the open-plan living area, we added a bespoke media wall with matching cabinetry, integrated storage and LED lighting to complement this.

The flooring comprises solid wood herringbone by @storiesflooring with the glazed entry door from @todddoors

The design followed through to the separate utility area which features integrated @haieruk
appliances and additional storage space.

The house is now for sale through marketing agents @marriott_vernon

A sneak peak at the refurbished Victorian cottage which is nearing completion.

Gone are the awkward layouts, dated decor and interiors, old electrics and plumbing, replaced with bright spacious rooms, open plan kitchen area with bespoke cabinetry, stone worktops and integrated appliances, dedicated utility room and WC, herringbone solid wood flooring and polished brass ironmongery.

The property has been holistically and sympathetically restored, ready for its new owners.

Works are progressing well with the main roof areas now fully tiled and the first floor tile hanging 60% completed. Lead work detailing has started around the window areas whilst the dry ridge system is being installed.

Once the windows are installed the internal works can commence including the floor screeding and under floor heating system.

We believe the detailing on any house is really important which is why we have included the club tiles on the tile hanging at first floor, and matching club style lead work under the windows.

The roof on the new house is now water tight with the solar panels installed and tiling works commencing shortly.

Internally the walls are starting to be installed ready for plumbing and electrical works to commence next week.

The original house is nearing completion with the walls now receiving their final colours and the kitchen / bespoke cabinetry being installed. Final push for it to be finished!

PLANNING GRANTED

Silverleaf Group have successfully obtained planning consent for a detached chalet bungalow on a piece of land in Warlingham.

The existing land currently hosts the former garage of a large house on the opposite site and Silverleaf recognised an opportunity to repurpose the site and propose a modest chalet bungalow.

Planning was granted at local level by way of delegated powers.

The scaffolding is now down with the new bifold doors and windows installed. The internal walls are also installed with first fix electrics and plumbing completed and the plastering almost finished.

On the new house, the garage has been demolished and we are currently waiting for the services for the existing house to be moved to enable the footings for the foundations to be dug and concrete poured!
